My First

Okay, I am finally creating my very first acronym - BFNM - Best Friend, Naples Man. Now I totally understand why people create acronyms when they are writing their blogs. Part to protect the innocent, part to keep some privacy and mostly to not have to explain over and over again in each post the main characters in our lives.

I could just use the first initial of his name but then what if I meet someone with the same initial and want to blog about that experience. Won't it just confuse you? It might, but I know you all are smarter than the average person and can figure that out. I will probably still shy away from the use of acronyms but I have a feeling I'm going to be doing a lot of exploring about BFNM in the coming months. Stay tuned...

thanks for the comment on my latest post. you know, the more i talk to people the more i realize how common we all are and how our experiences are much more universal than the sense of isolation we often feel would have us believe. i don't regret my choice either - it changed me life.

Oh, yeah. Every single person on my blog has another name. I used to name names, but that's just too dangerous!

Well, you know what I mean.

PS

I have a feeling though, you'll be shortening his nickname to Naples Man!

I KNEW IT! I was gonna ask you about it yesterday, but I was like, well, she'll tell us when she's ready. LOL.

Swishy, don't go getting all excited. First he's in Florida and I'm in Georgia. Second, I am NOT chasing him. Third, I will stay friends and not push the issue any further because I truly believe that the man should make the first move. Fourth, I've done this for 2 years now. It seems to frustrate my friends more than it frustrates me. Fifth, I might not talk about him much in my blog going forward but I don't predict the future either so I needed an acronym.
