Thank you first Commenter

Ever the inventive blogger, my good friend Neil at Citizen of the Month has declared today as thank your first commenter day. So I would like to thank Manic Mom not only for being my first commenter but for also encouraging me to start a blog. She said it would be easy, I believed. Boy was she wrong. HTML is a language that should be banned. I spent more time deciding which template, learning how to format the template, exploring other people's blogs, finding an appropriate picture to put up and then figuring out how to get that picture next to my profile. I would say I am 90% happy with the layout but I just couldn't spend anymore time experimenting and I was not going to learn a computer language that means nothing to me. I'm an accountant not a computer programmer. So anyway, thanks Neil for your creativity and thanks Manic Mom for encouraging me to enter the blog world.

Manic Mom was my first commenter, too! Look at her, taking all of our blog virginity, that dirty little bird ;)

Dirty bird indeed. Gee I wonder how many others she has "indoctrinated"? Ha

Hi TR. Thanks for your comment on my blog. I have been hunting for a Jewish deli (or any kind of deli, for that matter) since I arrived in San Jose, but I don't think they exist. This is the Holy Land of the Sourdough; I've seen no evidence of the other kind of Holy Land. On the bright side, there's a huge Asian community, so the Pad Thai and sushi are excellent.
