Going Pink

Lindbergh's Crossing is following Blogography's lead and participating in Pink for October for the month.

This is something I encourage others to do in order to bring attention to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, get people talking about breast cancer, and raise money for research. Four people in my family have been affected by this disease. Each spring I participate in the EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women in New York City to honor the survivors and to remember those who died like my Aunt and made a valiant attempt for life. Remember breast cancer doesn't just effect women; there are men who have had breast cancer too. It affects us all in more ways than you can imagine.

So go PINK! (I know it's purple but you needed to see it against my Pink background. It's the sentiment that counts.)

I'd love to go pink. What a great idea. But my Moveable Type templates are immoveable when it comes to changing stuff. I'll try to go pink in other ways before the month is out. Thanks!

Well, I'm only partially pink and it took a lot of research to get this far. I figure it was more the gesture that counts. And everywhere I go I have mentioned that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
